Is this the right place to start if I’m new to happiness science?
Yes. This course is designed as a starting point. No prior knowledge is expected. We assume curiosity, not expertise, and we build from the ground up in a very practical way.
How much time do I realistically need each week?
Around 30 minutes per week is ideal. You can do more if you want, but the course is intentionally designed to fit into real life, not compete with it.
Are there assignments or assessments I have to complete?
There are short reflections, activities, and quizzes, but nothing heavy or academic. They’re there to help you apply what you’re learning, not to catch you out or stress you.
Is this more theory or practical tools I can use straight away?
It’s both, but always practical first. We use science to inform the tools, not overwhelm you with it. You’ll be encouraged to try things in your day-to-day life as you go.
Do I need any specific skills or experience to do this well?
No. If you can reflect, stay curious, and try small changes, you’ll do just fine.
This is a certificate issued by BU Happiness College. It’s designed to build happiness and wellbeing skills, not to provide credit toward university degrees or external qualifications.
Is this a recognised qualification?
What happens after I finish the Certificate?
You’ll be able to download your completion certificate and add it to your resume as proof of the soft skills you’ve developed. Many people choose to continue into the Diploma of Happiness Studies, the Happiness Blueprint membership, or personal coaching. You’re never locked in. You choose what feels right next.
